The Beach

No beach tags required on the 5 Mile stretch of white sandy beaches, named ‘Best Beaches in New Jersey’ by USA Today. That’s right, The Wildwoods Beaches are absolutely free! In Wildwood Crest, the beaches provide plenty of room for good family fun. It’s where the pace is easier and swimming, sailing, and sunsets are a must for every visitor.

The Attractions

Wildwood Crest is home to a variety of outdoor activities including water sports, boating, fishing, craft shows, festivals, concerts, and much more. You’ll want to make sure to visit the picturesque park overlooking Sunset Lake where you’ll find fabulous sunset views.

Wonderful restaurants offering a diverse menu for all palettes can be found throughout Lower Township.

The Beach

Lower Township beaches include North Cape May, Villas, Cape May Beach, and Sunset Beach, all located on the Delaware Bay. They are open to the public year-round and a very popular destination for watching the sunset. Sit on the pebbly sand and comb for Cape May diamonds or visit the gift shop, restaurant, mini golf, and the SS Atlantus, an experimental concrete ship wrecked directly offshore of Sunset Beach.

The Beach

The beaches in the Villas are smaller, the sand is grittier, the waves are calmer, and the fun is endless. Villas beaches also run along the Delaware Bay, known as the Bay Beach. These beaches are known for kayaking, floating, fishing, sunset gazing, taking walks with your furry friends, and much more.

Catch breathtaking sunsets on Sunset Beach or visit Cox Hall Creek Wildlife Management Area and enjoy fishing along the large pond or a bike ride or stroll on the 4 mile trails. Take a trip to the beautiful Cape May Winery and enjoy award winning wines and fresh farm-grown fare or stop by Fleck’s Ice Cream, a town favorite.
